WHAT IS A SHEBA MINI YAK / AUSTRALIAN SHEBA?
Sheba Mini Yak is an Australian Breed. They are known as the "Bad Hair Day" Cavy and are adored by many because of their lively and cheerful attitude. They are a very friendly breed.
The breed was created by Wynne Eecen in 1969, she is the founder of NSW Cavy Club in Australia.
They are basically a semi-long haired breed but ideally are longhaired rosetted cavies. Its coat will grow continually. It will be suitably rosetted guinea pig with as many extra rosettes as possible placed evenly over the cavy. Having a wealth and depth of strong lustrous coat will also give maximum lift to coats, presenting a dishevelled appearance.

The Rosettes are clear and distinct from each other and radiate from a pin point centre. They are placed evenly all over the cavy with as many as possible to provide maximum lift.
